Fallout 1 was working correctly, now not so much....

I had downloaded this last November and FO1 and FO: Tactics worked just fine, never tried FO2. When I decided trying to play FO2, it wouldn't work correctly. I messed around with it a little and finally got it to work, however in a tiny little screen. Now FO1 won't play ina bigger screen than 800x600 and it's like half the size of my laptops screen.

Before it would play on the whole screen just fine. I'm running windows 8 on a Toshiba Satellite C55D-A laptop with an AMD Raedon HD 8330 video card. this is the first computer I've had in probably 7-8 years, going console gaming after I moved out of my parent's house after HS, and haven't been in the loop of these things for a while.

Keep in mind that all three of these games were made more than a decade ago back in 98. You won't get 1080p out of a game this old. It wasn't programmed to do so. You will have to play it in the default resolution. However you did say that it ran in a larger screen perfectly fine...my only suggestion to you would be to uninstall it and reinstall it. My assumption is you already tried that but if not go ahead and so so. You might also be able to find a few threads about this on interplay's forums. I don't own this game quite yet as I am waiting for it to arrive in the mail, but I hope I was able to help. Good luck :D

Yeah I've tried all that haha. I honestly haven't had time to mess with it any further. I might mess around with it again soon but I also have taken into account for being old game. Worst case scenario, I have a really old computer I may see if it will run it.

I figured out how to get the screen to be back to where it was. I had to go into the ddraw.ini and changing the Graphics mode to value of 4 and change the Graphics Width/Height to 1024x768 and it made the screen as big as it was originally before it went weird.
