Fallout 1 Intro Help
During the intro to Fallout 1, the cinematic becomes horribly pixelated, and looks terrible. Is there a way to fix this?

Would you kindly provide a picture? It might just be that running it on newer systems make the game look pixelated on bigger monitors.
Do you use the classic game executable, Puppy Monkey Baby? I recall using the High-Resolution patch to fix the palettes not tolerating that above 256 colors, in other words 8-bit color.

Didn't Steam publish Fallout with its latest patches installed?

This is a fan made patch just like the Fallout 2 restoration project.

The official patches, right? US v1.1 and UK 1.2 versions.

The latter is confusing and doesn't include kids, I'd suggest picking up the TeamX 1.3.5 patch and NPC armor mod for convenience sake… or if you wish Fallout Fixt includes it all-in-one along with other beautiful things you can pick from.

I downloaded the High Res Patch, but then read that I needed another download for it to work, some download on "No Mutants Allowed." However, this download was gone, so I kinda gave up. But then I downloaded the Fallout Fixt mod. I don't play in classic mode, and run the game on 1600x900.
