Hi you!As you may have noticed, we just released the Left Behind content to Dead by Daylight. Exciting!

Q: Are you going to release a killer from L4D2 unniverse? (Metlaski)
A: Never say never!

Q: How to unlock new outfits? (RaffyPlays)
A: They are directly available for the respective character. As long as you've patched, you'll have them.

Q: Out of all the Left 4 Dead chars why did you pick Bill? (Dr. Jrms)
A: The characters in l4d are all very interesting and could be made into fully fleshed out survivors in DBD. We chose Bill because his story in L4D is really fitting. Bill disappears in the event called the sacrifice, everyone thinks he`s deda and gone for good...well not quite :)

Q: Will William receive new outfits, unlike Laurie? Since he's a licensed character. (Vanellope)
A; As a liscenced character, we cannot do whatever we want with Bill. He has a prestige outfit though.

Q: OH MAH GAWWWDDDD! (Meg Thomas)
A: Yes, yes indeed!

Q: isn't Unbreakable a bit to op . . ? i mean we have adrenalin and now unbreakable ? oO (FaCeCaMp)
A: I don't think so, killers should think about it before leaving survivor crawling.

Q: Why did you remove the ability to use Sprint Burst while crawling? It actually saved my butt a couple of time if the killer didn't use Derstalker or Bloodhound to find me. (Star_Inferno)
A: Qou cannot sprint while crawling, the perk was never intended to do that haha. Maybe another low-cost perk might do the fast crawling at some point

Q: Having to design a licensed character must be tought. Did you feel limited in how you could design Bill? (Ichmag)
A: not at all, if anything else, limitations help focus on what we have to do. With these limitations the pieces fall into place really easilly in my opinion :). Bill is also a character that fits DBD perfectly, he is a survivor!

Q: Bill is a great choice for survivor and the new Claudette bff, but when Bill got a medkit, does it have the L4D skin or the basic one ? (Get_Yoshimaster)
A: The basic one :)

Q: Do you have any plans for further cooperation with Valve? (Arthur FINCH)
A: I'd love too!

Q: While it's good to see new content, especially free content like this, we as a community were really hoping for some new killer content as well. Can you give us an ETA on when any new content for killers might be arriving please? (Zatharax)
A: No ETAs but the killer with knees is in the work, and pretty awesome :)

Q: Why are you doing free content? Who is paying for continued support of DbD? (Dusk_Horror.tv)
A: why not! Sometime its free, sometime its not :)

Q: Does Bill miss his guns? Because I think he'd almost have quips to the killer when hooked like "I've taken on bigger than you, freak. You ever seen a tank? Eh?!?!?
A: Bill has one sad and empty holster. Of course the entity took it away

Q:Did Valve ask you to shoehorn "Left 4 Dead" in as many sentences as you could, for the spotlight video? It was hilarious everytime Mathieu said "Left 4 Dead" because of his notorious puns.
A: No, that`s all Math haha

A: We are always in the process of fixing bugs, and it will be a priority alongside releasing new content.

Q: The obvious question, is this AMA limited to questions regarding this new chapter as in "ask me anything regarding this" or may we ask practicaly anything regarding this game? ([MLM]hiduys)

Q: What will happen when you run into bear traps while your perk "Borrow Time" is still in action/running? (Bjorn15)
A: Interruptions will cancel the effect of Borrowed Time

Q: Nice new content, thanks! Isn't Bill supposed to get some achievements as well or are they just unlocked still? (Amagnator)
A: They should be visible now. They hadn't been updated on Steam just yet. (they are named Left for Dead, Taking One for the Team & Adept Bill).

Q: Something I kinda am curious about... But why is it when the survivor gets downed from the front they do a front flip to their crawling positon? Just curious is all, Also thanks for the content (MrXenik)
A: This is simply a cheap way to make the orientation of the character be the same before and after getting downed. When a player is standing up, he faces the front direction. When a survivor is down, the forward direction is in the direction of his head. Any other animation would likely look even weirder or result in the orientation of the character changing with the state change.

Q: Is that normal that every content from the free dlc have "code names" like "cust_meg_l4d" or "Surv_Bill_Name" in the menu ? (Get_Yoshimaster)
A: We're making an update with this. A last minute issue caused non-english text to appear as placeholder. We'll be temporarily pushing english texts to all languages and have it fully localized shotly thereafter.

Q: can u test out the trapper starting with all of his traps in PTB then maybe roll out??? can u take off totems for hag perks??? Ace's perk getting buffs yet?? (RepsForJesus)
A: There are currently no specific plans for these suggestions in the short term.

Q: What is this "Red Shirt Pack" thingy that got added to the Steam inventory? (Star_Inferno)
A: It's some additional piece of customization for owners of Left 4 Dead or Left 4 Dead 2. I leave it to you to figure out what it is!

When are you optimizing the netcode, so that finding a server faster or more stable connection is possible? And furthermore just like the one before me, will there be a killer from Left4dead? That would be nice. Keep up the great work!!
