You say that 75 is the largest FOV without distortion, but why the hell would you limit the possibility to set that option to whatever we feel like? There are people very sensitive to this. I mean, I've never feel so bad playing a game until I tried yours, holy crap.
I'd rather play with distortion than to puke all over my keyboard.
This is a complete deal breaker for me until this is addressed.
lol harsh! :P
To be fair, 107 horizontal (75 vertical) FoV is like ultra wide. Anything going above 100 becomes clearly noticable. Will wait until a slider is available before purchase, but relaly looking forward to play.
Yeah, sorry about that, I tend to get icky when sick.
Talking about keyboards, the membrane of my A key got torn while playing the game. Why karma, why?!
I think you have misread, the dev responding in this thread confirmed that Unity uses vertical FoV and is set to 75, so 107 horizontal.
Agreed. I'm completely willing to purchase this game full price, but 75 fov is very uncomfortable.
I haven't bought the game yet (I'm also waiting for higher fov options), but that might be caused by character's hand in the first person view. It's unusually large, and that combined with the fast movements probably makes the problem worse. I remember tribes ascend getting similar complaints about gun sizes.
Not yet, keep an eye out for patch notes.
