Edit 2: Just notice the game gets an update for the beta branch and version number is 1.0.2.9(1.0.2.7). It is another patch update for DLC.

this is the official page for 1.0.2.9, I translated it into english, even though I dont know most of the terminology.

1.0.2.9 bugs fix list:
fixes the effects for the following internal styles: 万花离经、地煞无极功、天罡功、心合意气流‧明内功.
fixes the inconsisency of description and the actual buff of 打狗棍法.
fixes the weapon effects fo the following weapons: 煌荣、催眠剑、紫薇、巨阙、谦光、含光.
fixes the required material by 易水寒.
fixes the incorrect attribute change during 齐丽喂粥 event.
fixes crashing when intenal style of小无相功 counter attacks other martial arts.
fixes 大圣缚身 buffing to other allies.
fixes description of 生生造化丹.
fixes inability to trigger 连击 effect.
fixes mining percentage when reaching mining skill of 100.
fixes the effect of 猎抓 from 任天翔's internal style.
in raising simulation interface, paging fliping is added for internal styles, and in hidden difficulty, you wont get the same intenal style again.
fixes loss of audio of some martial arts.

1.0.2.9 new content and changes list:
adjusts the time window to trigger 虚真 event, which makes it eaiser.
adjusts the effect of 齐丽’s internal styles.
adjusts the effect of 灌铅骰子.
merges all events of making high level weapons into one event.
adjusts weapon type of 子母剑 to dual swords.
increases the attack bonus of 洗随经.
adds two new hidden internal styles, two new hidden martial arts.
adds new event for 无瑕子(your teacher) and 七贤(the 7 dudes).
adds new items you can purchase during new year month.
adds new events and teammates after unlocking main map.
adds three new achievements, one of them unlocks a new talent.



Edit: DLC for retail version has been released. Steam version still need couple of more days. You can opt in to beta(chinese, thanks @BlackWing1977 and @ 梦幻mew) in steam to get early access.

FYI: especially for english players, the game is about to have a second major DLC coming soon. The first major DLC was integrated in the steam version already. Officials only said the DLC is coming soon but didnt give a specific date tho. The second DLC is called 碧血丹心 or loyalty unto death (what google translate gives me). Also I have to point out that the steam version of the DLC will come later than retail version in China.

There's some drama going on over impatience for the new update/DLC over on Chinese gaming communities. I recommend calm and rational thinking. This is already an incredible game given the developers' meager resources. The Devaraja Returns update (which was free) was a huge addition with almost as much content as the base game. The developers are not obligated to produce additional content for this game, especially when they are working on other new major projects, yet they do-for free! That doesn't even make financial sense for the developers. The DLC will come when it comes. Let's show the teams at Heluo Studio and Phoenix Games appreciation rather than unwarranted malice.

I understand your reason, and I would like to ask if there is a way to contact developers to offer help. Although I don't know Chinese, I have read most Jin Yong's books, and have adequate English language skills. Therefore, maybe I can help with the editing. In that way, we can reduce the waiting time, while showing support for the company for making such a fantastic game. Cheers :)

I respect these devs so much, this is the best RPG experience i had in years. And i have played RPGs since Snes came out.

Every character is full of life, reaching the endgame is sad, i notice the best years are the ones where you are happy with your family, all the girls are genuine and got their ambitions same as the guys.

The music is crazy good, i cant listen to Xiaoyao Valley theme song is heartbreaking for me, the battle music/boss music is hipy.

All the secret stuff, the variety of skills, there is even once internal art thats based on Bruce Lee JKD(art of the heavenly dragon i think)

Mad respect for these guys even dropping free dlcs. I support these guys forever.

There is an official community page on their website(in chienese tho), and from what I know the english version was translated by good people like you voluntarily. But I think they are mostly done, it will be hard to fit in at the moment. I hope they can make the steam version faster as well.

Truly hope the dlc will come out soon... I personally wouldn't have minded buying each of them 10-15 dollars, seeing how big they actually are and how interesting this game is!

Piracy is what killing a lot of potential game developers in China market, if not for rampant piracy over at China, I am sure they will have more games like these instead of tons of MMORPG with in-game purchase... because that is the only way to make money, any single player game like these usually get killed by piracy. But since this is finally on Steam, it might actually be worth it for the developers to build up a good reputation with this game, and I think they are going to have a new prequel to this game soon.

I can read both chinese and english but for me playing in english kinda of detracts from the experience, as I did play the original game Jin Yong Qun Xia Zhuan many years ago about Xiao Xia Mi, and it was surreal to play in the original Wu Xia world with all the famous Wu Xia heroes and villains, like Duan Yu, Yang Guo, Hu Fei, Xu Zhu, Xiao Feng (Quite a tragedy) etc and villains like Xin Su Lao Guai, Dong Fang Bu Bai (nothing to do with the Dong Fang Yi in this game) etc.

We should spread the words about this game, so that this company can create more wonderful games. It is heart warming to see a company willing to release a DLC which is almost an expansion for free for the fans and not charge DLC pricing like the rest of the game companies which is getting ridiculous sometimes.

The DLC will feature additions to game content and improvements to choices and consequences with new scenarios, decisions, and battles, along with a New Game+ feature. The Beggars' Sect and Dongchang routes will be lengthened. There will be two new romantic options: Princess Wei Ni and Shen Lan (Dr. Poison). There will be new skills, including poison skills, the Bixie Sword Techniques (derived from the Sunflower Manual), and dual wielding techniques (along with dual weapons). There will be an achievement system that keeps track of special achievements as well as endings. There will also be new stroll events. Keep in mind that this update is being made by only two people, and that it's still being debugged and translated.
