Rumors saids the next DLC comes with NG+ (those stones at the top of character creation page)
That feature is used to lock in certain stats during the rolls during character creation, and is unlocked after beating the game in a non-monkey (lowest) difficulty.
Here's a summary about what's coming up in the next DLC:
1. Main story extension
DongChang route and Begger's Sect route largely extended. New plot lines, new battles, new possibilities for every current routes, more or less.
2. New romance possibilities.
Shen Lan and a brand new character, a princess from Western Region, may develop relationship with the protagonist.
3.New moves to learn and new events to explore.
Our protagonist will have chances to learn more moves related to poison. Plus he may learn one of the most notorious and fearsome swordsmanship in wuxia history, which would require him to sacrifice part of his bodypart.
4.Achievement system & New game plus(will be known as the Power of Sanctuary):
Players will be able to collect in-game CGs and endings and view them at any time they want through the achievement page on the main menu. Plus, if players manage to achieve certain conditions, they will unlock special CGs for the achievements.
Player will receive a Power of Sanctuary once they clear the game in non-monkey difficulty. Power of Sanctuary can be used to lock certain stats or raise the possible limitation of all stats. Other than that, some of the new talents can also be unlocked after players have at least cleared the game once.
If everything goes well, we should be able to see this new DLC this month, both on the original Chinese version and Steam version.
This is great! Thank you guys so much!
It might be great to have some special skills or inner requiring special talents, like the one strengthening toughness could make the player able to learn some special inner skills ((like toughness= Able to unlock Golden Buddha Body Inner Technique/ Nimble= Primordial Dragon Flying Style) or give him some innate capacity on some others which may change depending on which inner he use.
Some cultivation technique would only be able to be obtained through quest where you only receive a few part of the technique, limiting the level at which you can pratice it until you gain a new part giving everytime a new bonus to the technique like first part= Bonus Counter / Part 2= Bonus Movement / Part 3= Ignore Armor Bonus / Part 4= Bonus Throwing Weapon)
It could also give the opportunity to create a few more quest which the player wouldn't have done in another playthrough if he didn't chose this particular talent, meaning he wouldn't be able to predict what would happen next even if he already finished the game 5 or 6 time, it would still be as interesting as his first time!.
It would make a character more unique and much more meaningfull while making new game+ have far more interest and fun for the player since he would be able to unlock some completely new style and new quest which he never unlocked before whatever he tried to do.
Some talents could be unlocked everytime the player finish the game, the player would start as a normal cultivator, but after finishing the game a few times he could unlock a talent like (Ancestral Veins) which would make it harder to pratice internal skill in the early part of the game but would greatly improve his stats and health after his Martial Knowledge reach a certain level.
Well it's just my opinion, but it might be interesting to see more development on this part of the game which hold a very large potential.
