-8 gb
-quad-core

BUT THIUS GAME ISN'T WORKING!

I can get to the main menu, but after staring a mission the exe stopped working!
HELP!

I just purchased this game and when the Custer thing ends I get a crash to desktop. I am running Windows XP (SP3). What is causing this to happen?

PhysX version problems are causing this crash, de-installing PhysX and installing the version that can be found in the game's folde might work for some. I had problems installing that version though since it got stuck, so I'm clueless what else to try too.

This game does not run on windows 7 (64) properly, I also think it's the physX. Looks like im asking for a refund then as theres no fix.

Ok, Uninstall Nvidia physX, then goto "Steam\steamapps\common\Darkest of Days\setup" folder and run the 3 installers, (ie, oalinst, physX 9.09 and vcredist) then run the game again. Seems to be running fine now (im past the 1st mission etc)

Poor show that this CRITICAL ERROR has not been patched really :(

if it is a problem PhysX there is no need to uninstall the driver but rather install this one Legacy NVIDIA PhysX System Software.http://www.nvidia.fr/object/physx-9.13.0604-legacy-driver-fr.html
