how can i custom setup the controls? its not working at all

Is anyone having any issues with connecting to Ubi servers on this game recently? I've been playing on my steam deck for over a month with no issues, but over the past 2 days It seems that I can't connect to check my records, and I really can't say for sure if it's the deck's issue or something on the server side....

I have mainly been playing Random track generator with hot seat in Trackmania Turbo. On my previous PC, the track generator was generally quite fast. The track would generated in 15 seconds or less. Then after selecting the track I want, the loading screen would appear and it would take approximately 10-15 seconds maximum to generate it and let me play. Even for "Long" randomly generated tracks on the "Nice" lighting setting it would not take longer than that.. Trackmania and steam at this PC were both in...

I can't play the game on Steam Deck because I stuck at the login of the old Uplay Launcher. I think there is an update missing for the newer Ubisoft Connect Launcher. Other solutions I've found on Reddit are not working for me.
