Lieat 4?

Are we getting a sequel to this by the original maker or is it just left behind by the dev because if it is, I say the people who translated this should get the permission to continue the series since this the only JRPG I like and I like the characters and the plot of it. Please answer me.

It feels kinda unfinished to me. I mean, I want to see the relationship between Efina and Teo (I think that's his real name) evolve into something bigger and I want to see Teo become a better person.

It didn't seem like theo would change much to be honest. He'll not lie to Efina, but he said he'll still have to lie in general, since thats how he gets through lives, escapes the people who would be after him, etc.

Actually the game is complete. Miwashiba wanted to leave the game there, and there will most likely never be a LiEat 4.

There is a novel though, Miwashiba also writes and released on a little while ago. I believe vgperson has translated, so you should be able to find it on their site.

Well I guess that's it then. A great RPG that ends here... This kinda inspired me to make my own RPG now which follows the same gameplay style of this game but knowing me, it will never happen.

The translated novel did indicate that he seems to enjoy working with an editor to keep things consistent. I don't read a lot of novels, but I was hooked on that one

Same. I wrote a review about this for a school magazine I work for and I remember describing it as "A well written story without a proper ending" and how much of a shame it is not to be continued but it did feel like he was having fun with it. Maybe he will make something in the spirit of it or make them into a series of novels. Either way is good if it means I can emerge myself into this wonderful world he has created.

The creator has said that they've finished Teo and Efina's stories with the end of LiEat III, however the creator is still making games! Alicemare is on here, and 1bitheart has gotten translated as well. A sequel to 1bitheart is almost done called 1Beatheart, and they're working on another game called Faceless Double that looks VERY similar in style to the LiEat games.

Yep, he has 2 other games on steam, Alicemare and 1bitHeart (just released today)
