This version or Jast's?

So here's the thing: I'm interested in buying the "editio perfecta" of this game on Jast USA's page; however, I don't know if it is possible, or how to do so in order to get an "download only" version of this game (I have no experience with such things). Really, I can't afford myself to keep around a physical version of this game. So I'm left with two options:

-Buy the editio regia and apply the community patch, wich I don't know how to do and am slightly disinclined to learn (not totally though).

or

-Buy perfecta from Jast's through a download-only channel, if possible.

So, if there would be a charitable soul out there who could explain me how I could procure a download only version of this game or how to patch Ragia to the uncensored version (if the +18 uncensored patch indeed already exists), I'd be much obliged!

Buying the game from JAST USA will give you the installer and the data package for the game, also they will email you a free editio regia steam key as well which I found really nice of them.

...So I just buy the $ 39.99 version there and be done with it?

Yeah the digital download

I'm pretty sure the package edition below it is the physical copy

JAST offers download versions of almost all of their titles. You should almost certainly find an option to get one instead of a physical copy of the VN. IIUC, the download version doesn't come with a Steam key though.

Bought the digital download. It came with the data and installer for Editio Perfecto in a zip folder and I was emailed a steam key for Editio Regia.

I also bought this game through JAST (actually thru J-list if I recall correctly, download release) when it was 1st released (no Steam version then). Still got the email for the Steam release too, was a surprise really. Hopefully other games will come with Steam keys included in the future. (Or even better, one purchase for mutli-platform release [eg: Windows, Linux, Android, etc.] . Not likely , but here's hoping)
