"Invalid parameter detected in CRT function" WHAT IS THIS?

the game is not even playable, everytime i launch it, this error pops up, i googled all over the place and there is no obvious solution to this. WHAT IS THIS AND what does it mean?

Googling this doesn't help at all, they all refer to Crysis 2 or Mechwarrior, and the issue is about multiplayer.... 0_o?

no, i cant start the game at all, not mp, not sp, nothing at all ... when i press play - to just start the game - game shows me just that and thats all! :(

All i search so far is that it's a Cryengine 3 error thing, and some say it's your sound control panel. OH SURE, Crysis 3 worked just fine and that was the same engine!

Did you guys try toggling in the sound panel?
im not sure what its called but its the last option, you can set the mhz ot khz and then test .. try cahnging that but be careful and turn down volume first before running game.. a few games had issues due to sound, dead rising 2 was one of them.. not sure if this is the problem but someone mention sound and this is the only issue i could think of.

Ok...I solved it for me.

The problem are special letters or signs in the nickname of the players...in my case it was a "ᶠᶸᶜᵏᵧₒᵤ" behind the roadwarrior...I cut it off...and now the game is working.
It seems to be "feature" of the CryEngine3...so change your name boys and try it...
