LOVED Beyond Sol and Spaz. I just picked up Stellaris and HATED it. Refunded in 10 minutes. Is there anything out there like these 2 games on Steam?

Did the devs abandon us? xD I haven't been keeping up with the game as much so i dont know, but there haven't been any updates in soo long :(

There might not be many people still playing Beyond Sol. But most of the people who did play it loved it, and I beleive there's a large enough number of space/management game fans around to make a sequal into a success. I'm not even talking about reinventing the wheel. Take Beyond Sol, polish up the models, add some more, improve the AI, and more events/encounters, and all the UI improvements suggested for this game (with some fancier graphics) and you will have a solid game. I honestly do not want to port forward unless I know 100 percent that there is not a much simpler option. I do not want to tell my friends to buy it we cannot get it working.
