Attention Devs The Ape is just bad Art - Teach Artists about Hair Skins in 3ds Max

lol these things are the worst art ever....walking upright all the time lol and the skin over the mesh what an amature job! Compared to the good artwork in Ark I am glad these are not much bigger.

Anything with hair in this game tends to look plastic the mammals are a fail the rest of the lifeforms look great.

There are newbies using 3ds max that can get better results then whatever your artists are getting - Your hairy animals are just bad.


Try some variations on plantlife this content was rushed and not well thought out.

For a $25 game you were expecting Crysis level graphics? As for things being "rushed" this is an early access game? We are seeing the first working versions of things. Maybe you should just go back to trolling on COD.

They will probably fix the fur, feathers and whatnot eventualy. However if they tried to render hair at this point your sytem would not take it. No ones would. Toward the end when they get everything optimized, perhpas they will get Nvida PysX for the hair or even AMD tress effects. I would not hold my breath though.
