Can't select "Shogun 2" in campaign mode

The problem is when I lunch "Total war shogun 2" in my steam libraly everything seem like to be normal but then when I want to start playing in campaign mode I can only select "Fall of the samurai" campaign but the "Shogun 2" is grey and I can't click on it to play.



It is fine if I can't select "Rise of the samurai" campaign because I didt purchase this DLC but in this case the "Shogun 2" campaign mode is grey and unable to be select although I've brought "Total war shogun 2" since 2014 and got this game in my steam library.



I don't understand why this is happening and it's very annoying that I can play only "fall of the samurai" campaign even though I 've brought Total war shogun 2 but I CANNOT play "Shogun 2" campaign



I've already checked downloadable content in my steam library for this game and it is look like i've downloaded everything and i've checked in store and found that I 've brought both of "Total war shogun 2" and "fall of the samurai" but I only have "Total war shogun 2" in my library and when i play this game I cant select "Shogun 2" campaign . Confused right?



sorry for my bad english and I hope that somebody can fix this problem because I brought this game long time ago and now i really want to play "Shogun2" campaign mode

are you sure you didn't simply buy the Fall Of The Samurai standalone expansion? Because if you buy that one, it does not give you the original game.

If you only pay once for the "shogun 2" and "fall of samurai", that mean you are buying "fall of samurai" only. The simple way to check is go to shop and search "shogun 2" The area that you already pay, will say it is in library. The rest you can click into and purchase it.

I already search for " Shogun 2 " in store and it said I've already had this game in my library same as when I search for " fall of the samurai "

Steam for some reason is set up so that if you own Fall of the Samurai it will say you already own Shogun II.
It's most likely you just never owned it.
I think it may be possible to buy the game as a "gift" and then unwrap it yourself.

check account detail ( bought item's ), not steam library, steam library is not yours, see other free dump games they have added and ready to install. ( Spiral Knights was added to our lib without my approval. )
