QQing about 30 fps on a PSP port

And people wonder why devs DREAD making PC versions because of you whiny people.


This is a PSP game. Go look up the differences between the PSP and the current-gen console versions. THe difference is HUGE. The frame rate is due to engine limitations. They even said it themselves. You expect them to put tons of resources modifying the engine just so whiny people get 60 fps, when most people that bought this on consoles only got it for the FF15 demo? Please.

Nothing but entitled brats on here. And before you say anything, I care about 60 fps, but only if it's an ACTUAL NEW GAME MADE FOR PC AND/OR CURRENT-GEN CONSOLES. PSP port with big upgrades graphically? i'll let it pass and enjoy the game, as I did for my limited time with the PS4 version.

They didn't moan because no one knew about FPS. It was "this game runs well" or "this game doesn't run as well". Now, people are more educated and technology has significantly advanced (for the PC). And Steam didn't exist for people to moan.

Also, did you read the store page? It's not just a straight up port. If it was, they wouldn't give us resolution option and allow us to control other settings.

I bet 30 fps give eye cancer or something. The gameplay ? It doesn't matter. The story ? It doesn't matter. The music ? It doesn't matter. The charismatic characters ? It doesn't matter.

I can understand you like the sweetness of a 60fps game. I can't understand you are able to dismiss the rest because a game doesn't have this feature. To sum up: You don't want to play @30 fps ? Don't buy the game. End of story.

Because it's a remaster. Hence the 'HD' in the title. Go look up on youtube the differences between the PSP version and the PS4/Xbone. It is a big difference.

The FPS limit is purely an engine limitation ( due to it being made for a handheld ) that would require them to rework far too much for it to be viable. Changing assets to increase the graphics is easier.

Honestly though, your logic makes no sense. If devs went with your logic, the previous Final Fantasies would not have been ported over ( ie FF7 and FF8 ) since it wasn't made for PC.
