Your GPU might be dying or starting to slow down.

Don't know about "before", but even with a "godly" rig, Arma 2 can be wonky, especially if you have all addons.
You say you haven't changed anything, but did you maybe download a few mods or something like that? Because everything you pile on drags down the performance more.

If it is not that, and it did work very good before, there may be hardware issues.
Like, the fans could be very dusty and not cooling enough anymore, making your computer overheat. That's just one thing. Or maybe you updated your drivers, and that could also be a problem, if Arma doesn't "like" the new drivers.

Also your system could be badly optimised, as in too much background programs, or you may even have caught a virus or other malware.

Can't say anything definite without knowing your specs and how exactly those problems manifest. Sorry.

That may be a good idea, for starters. Also make sure your harddisk is defragmented, this can help immensely, too. If you don't want to wait for hours to defrag the whole disk, maybe get IOBit Game Booster (it's free) or something similar - one of the best features that thing has is being able to defrag single folders - Should only take a few minutes to scan the Arma folders and optimize them. It can also disable unneeded background software among other things, and it's easy to use.

If all that doesn't help, you may really have to open your case and take a look at the fans of CPU and GFX card. That can seriously screw you over if left uncleaned. Somewhere along the road, they may stop completely 'cos of dust and fry your chips. That's rare, though, but if you still get problems, it should be looked into.
