In case anyone's interested in seeing it for themselves, get the Eversion level editor and load Areaend.map. Just past the Princess's room is an old version of World 1. I've removed the Princess's room, expanded the water a little and crap, and while "world 1 old.map" is ready for play, I don't know how to share it.
