Cursor keeps resetting position with x360 controller analog

At first I thought it was intended, but then I soon realize that you CAN'T adapt to it, the stupid cursor keeps resetting no matter the motions of the analog stick.

What can I do to have a NORMAL-moving cursor with the analog and the game being playable at a distance with controller+HDTV?

I face the exact same problem!! they keep going to where my mouse cursor is, despite my using the 360 controller!! is there any solutions??

Yesterday I booted up the game again and that didn't occur (with the same controller).
I'm guessing you need to restart your pc or something, because that's only a bug, though a big one.
The game has another major bug which is to not boot if you use two monitors, I hope that's all there is for this game, regarding bugs.

So yeah, try to restart your pc and check if the bug persists.

Yeah, I just tried the game again and it works fine, thanks. Then, if you do use the mouse, sometimes picking the conversation options in the updated graphics mode can be difficult, or that's just me.

I've reset and opened the game multiple times with the same issue still.

Same here, really ruining the game. Playing it in windowed mode sort of fixes the problem though

Put the mouse pointer in the lower right corner of your screen.
(in the black bars so you can't see it)
The controller now has focus and all is well.
Just make sure to keep the mose pointer in the black bars "around" the game screen.

PS:
Sometimes, usually if you multitask, the mouse will gain priority permanently, you'll have to restart the game and repeat to use the controller again.

The controller now has focus and all is well.
Just make sure to keep the mose pointer in the black bars "around" the game screen.

What black bars? i don't have any black bars. Were you playing with some strange aspect ration?
I'm still not able to fix this problem.
