How to get Yellow Flowers a second time or how to cheat it. BUG!!

I already picked the flowers up and combined it with something, but the piranha dogs won't fall asleep with the meat. When i go to the flowers back again, Guybrush just says "I have already got one" but ther is no flower in my Inventory. Please help and sorry for my bad English :)

I think this might not be a bug, just you missing a step in the solution. Did you try doing anything else with the meat? Maybe you should check back in the kitchen.

Solution - There's a pot of soup in the kitchen.You need to put the meat in it to stew. - sorry if you already did this, then I guess it really is a bug?

Hmm, sorry then. I don't think the inventory can be manipulated too easily, though. Maybe you should get a savegame from someone? I'll try to work up to that point and upload a save somewhere if that sounds good to you.

Update: so I started a new game, and focused almost exclusively on this quest line (getting into the governor's mansion). I also did everything story-related in the environments I needed to go through, but nothing else. So I have a save file in which these actions were completed (a few solution spoilers, I guess):
- exhausted all currently available dialogue with important-looking pirates
- picked up meat in kitchen > used meat with soup > picked up stewed meat
- picked up pot in kitchen
- picked up fish outside of kitchen
- exhausted all currently available dialogue with citizen of Mêlée
- exhausted all currently available dialogue with men of low moral fiber > got minutes and two pieces of eight
- picked up yellow petals > used yellow petals with stewed meat > got meat with condiment

That means my current inventory is: 2 pieces of eight, meat with condiment, pot, fish, minutes. I tested the meat on the dogs and they fell asleep. Here's a save file in which I still have the meat in my inventory: {LINK REMOVED}savegame.002; and here's a file in which I already used the meat and the dogs are asleep: {LINK REMOVED}savegame.003
