Which Monkey Island?
Hi. I'm new to point & click, I played Syberia 1 the last month and I enjoy it a lot.
I would like to play this classic series and I'm happy to discover that there are talkie versions..but I think the first Special Edition has an ugly art-style; the main character, I really can't look at him. Instead in the second game Special Edition is better-looking.

So I would ask to people who already play them..is bad to start with the second Monkey Island?
There are good, important reasons for start with the first chapter and not maybe do the opposite (the second and maybe then the first)? There are too much spoilers at doing that?

Hello.

You have to play with the very 1st monkey island. Otherwise you will not understand some part of the story in MI 2. And you will not understand a few jokes too

Thanks, that answer is useful. It's not easy to find a so pertinent answer at the first shot. Usually people start to talk of something that is near the question but don't hit the target so good.

Graphics does not matter. If you
like adventures and point and click, the secret of Monkey island is a major classic.
It influenced so many other games.

There are many monkey island fan websites. Check on google. This game is a true classic.
