Micro-stutters and stalls on AMD CPUs

Thanks to people’s feedback, we’ve identified an issue with XAudio sound processing when running on AMD CPUs.

If you’re seeing micro-stutters or stalls we recommend setting the audio reverb quality to OFF in the launcher (bottom right corner) and see if that improves matters. We hope to address this in a future patch.

Not sure if this helps but I had stutters and stalls. I changed my audio setting from headphone to speaker mode. Completely fixed it.

I ran into this as well and still had the problem. Only after moving down the audio quality, (headphones, speakers etc etc) did the stuttering totally go away. Works good now.

Confirm yours way work for me too. I'm using an FX-8300.

Turned off reverb in settings. Loads better now. Still locks up if I leave it idle while I nip to get a beer. Im running intel i7 and 780ti in sli

Weird i have the same CPU and don't have micro stutters. Wonder why some have it and some don't. Could it be motherboard specific?

Yeah it's very odd. I run at about 173 fps average and when I go get a beer it's locked up at 7. Hard reset and its back to normal till I leave it again. Very odd. Cards are set in control panel to maximum performance so they don't hold back

I've tried this method on my FX-8350, seems to have made the problem worse
