Lag Switch Players?

So I noticed a new fad of players at the higher end of the ranking (around 50k and lower) just being able to mysteriously just teleport and suddenly the game going from about 60fps to 20 in a moment then the game going back to normal. I've run into this several times now an wondering if any else is getting this? Primarily its ranked players from what I notice, not casuals.

nah you just suck! some people will say it and denie the fact that lag switch exist and it is easy to make even 13years old kids know how to lag switch

I've encountered pc players who minimize the game in the middle of a fight when they are losing, resulting in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ my fps too. it's too obvious because they stand still and then the extreme stutter begins. A shame because by losing you learn a lot and it's a part of the game. if you want to win everytime go play assassin's creed or some other game that carries you.

Yeah pretty much just like this. I was fighting a ken and he went from me parrying all his attacks and srking him to suddenly he is just jumping in, then giving me the works while teleporting around the screen and I cant do ♥♥♥♥ about it. It was almost exactly like this. Just with ken instead.

That's an really extreme example. I had a lot of laggy matches but that one takes the cake.

Personally, I think lag matches are a bigger concern than rage quit.
RQ, you lose your time.
Lagswitch, you lose your time and LP (plus the other guy gains LP and FM).

I agree, "lagswitch" or not: the too frequent lag (both PC and PS4) is killing my will to play this game. It's a shame, as I was enjoying this one a LOT. It just feels so much of wasting my time, when I first wait 5 mins for match and then about 2/3 of the matches has more or less lag, that makes it more of a luck based game, than skill. And it has just gone worse during this week, this weekend being the absolute worst.

That just happened to me today against a ken, he switched our life bars and I lost because of it

You can noticed easy if you losing I can promised you it never lag ever BUT if you are about to winning the lag switcher start active...all the time I mean mostly I so used with it :/

Rarely players are honest to deal with lose without lag switcher...

High rank players are worsrt lag switcher....

Other things rollback that not lag switcher it was other People's poor slow PC

Yep, you can almost always tell. Win one match and the slow down and stuttering begins. Then suddenly your opponent cannot be hit and you start seeing these little flashes where you hit them and then they at the same time are fine and hitting you. You see a double exposure type animation. It's the game system trying to sync with your opponent who is lagging you on purpose. I have also noticed that if you are able to adjust and defend yourself and it is not working, they will sometimes turn it back off because it is not helping. Play more defensively, go for the cheap trips and crush counters after blocking an attack that leaves them open. Try to move around more so they do not have a stationary target to pummel.

I'm from Hong Kong and have no problem playing vs Korea, Japan (rarely have lags) and even Taiwan ar fine but....whenever it link to China (or at least ppl that uses the China flag)

The lag makes ALL my opponents hav YOGA TELEPORT no matter who they are using.....and they can perform all combo correctly. When I hit them I will get a roll back and being hit instead....now wtf is going on? I only search for 5 only matches and yet I would run into these yoga masters 1 out of 5 matches.

Since those matches ar unplayable I have to DC at the start of the game and i would get a penalty of 120 mins lock....

Good job crapcom, I thought stf4 lag issue was bad but this is worse. At least in stf4 BOTH SIDE hav the same lag issue not ONE SIDED in stf5.

This is why they need to just kill bad connections. Games with de-sync detection usually have an auto kick feature for anyone who has regular disconnects (lag switchers) and as such these games have less lag switchers because of how effectively it disrupts their game play. Sure it also stops anyone with a bad internet connection from playing... But let's be real, even a 4mb connection can play the game well. If your internet is that bad, you're connecting to the wrong server or you need to pay for better service.
