NoLimits 2 Roller Coaster Simulation

Unfixable “Lag”?
So I bought this hoping for a great rollercoaster simulator/creater app but there is a major problem. Although the game itself doesn’t technically “lag” (FPS always at least 20 on lowest settings - not great but manageable), whenever a coaster picks up a lot of speed, the simulation appears very jittery - like the simulation is just messed up. It is glitchy and makes coasters look jerky (even if they are not, I tried a bunch of the pre installed ones). I can’t enjoy the app now, and really want it fixed because it was, of course, $40.

My computer is an HP with the 7th gen intel core i5, intel 620 graphics, and 8gb of ram (Windows 10). This is way above the required, and recommended system.

If necessary, I can try to post a video later.

Please help.

Probably the worst “offender” of this is the Gatekeeper clone, if that helps 😂

The Intel 620 integrated graphics chip is the bottleneck here. Intel graphics chips like this one are not known for performance and do not support high performance 3D environments or VR well. The simulation is performing as well as your hardware can support. We recommend a dedicated graphics card solution. In our experience we've found the best performance from nVidia cards. Tip: if the computer is VR ready and capable, it will perform very well with NoLimits 2.

Yeah but the strange thing is the FPS isn’t actually dropping (maybe a few fps but not much). Maybe this is normal but it’s just the ride that looks jittery, not the actual scenery and game itself.

Like if the ride is going slow, albeit panning around the scenery, it still will look fine.

By the way, during this whole video the FPS was always above 20

I think what you experience is the ride view shake effect, bring up the view panel (F7) and turn it off there. You might also want to use the "fly by view" instead of the "ride view" which does not use a simulated view shaking effect.
