Game starts scrolling through all menu options randomly

Sometimes an hour after playing, sometimes 5 minutes, the game bugs out and starts scrolling through all the menu options, or battle commands which makes this game unplayable because I cannot select anything or the keyboard will suddenly stop working and nothing works except Alt-F4ing out of the game. I see some others had this problem and fixed it by disabling HID compilant devices under Device Manager, but I don't seem to have any. Any fixes?

I just tried what you said and that worked for me so thanks for that. My game has been freaking out ever since I started trying to play it again after the patch (probably a coincidence, not sure). I couldn't even get in the game on mine though, it would start freaking out as soon as I would launch it. It would just start going back and forth between 'New Game' and 'Settings'

Go into the Device Manager and start disabling all the HID (Human Interface Devices) one by one until it works. Let me know how that goes. For me it was indeed four HID-compliant game controllers that I had to disable. I don't even know what they are though since my 360 controller and my PS3 controller are working fine still.

my game minimizes itself to the desktop whenever it wants to. It does not happen to often tho, so not sure why it is happening.

Glad to hear it man! BTW, would you mind telling me where you heard the solution of disabling the HID-compliant devices? I'd love to go in there and say thank you.

I figured out what the four devices I disabled were. They were the four Wiimote controllers that the DolphinBar lets you use with your PC games. :)
