Same here. Sometimes he did it all 20 seconds but then dodge dont go.

Xbox controller works fine but with the G19 keyboard no chance.

Sad to hear that, I remember the second game also had issues when using Mouse and keyboard. It will sometimes stop reading the inputs, I died a ton of times due to that.

Rebind Strong Attack to Mouse 2?

Like, rebind the keys to a setup that actually makes sense and makes it comfortable to play instead of doing hand gymnastics every time you get into combat.

The only "issue" with M+K is people aren't willing to change their keybinds, UNLESS you are left handed, since you can't rebind WSAD, which is piss poor.

just rebind .... what up with those people these days? if they want to buy a game with no options or set up just buy console games and the others should just USE OTHER KEYBINDINGS.

But noooo lets open a thread and cry a bit ... is always better the self thinking

Its a bug when the standartkeys dont work. So the error must be found. But only say it dont work is not enough. What keyboard is in use helps too.

You have to make shift+double click. At least for me that works.

Only sometimes. Something is wrong with the keyboardinput.

Worked for me, too.

To the rest of the replies in this thread: Don't tell me how to play. I can't believe I had to read all of that to get a real answer.

I just had the same issue. What fixed it for me was un-equiping the torch. I guess he needs both hands.
reloading a save fixed it for me. Still occurs in Next Gen update which is BS

I should stress I did not have the torch or a lantern equipped but Geralt would not two hand his sword and was acting like I had one equipped. Only reloading a save reset his animations and allowed me to attack as normal.
