ACU.exe has stopped working?
This happens every time I try to launch the game. Is anyone else getting this issue or knows a fix for it?

If you have a nvidia card, uninstall 344.65 drivers, install 344.48 try to start the game. If it starts, then reinstall 344.65. I had your exact same problem.

Is there anything else that fixed this? I also turned off the overlay in uplay.
Not positive if this is the issue or not, but if you have an on screen display program like EVGA Precision X / Riva Tuner / MSI Afterburner, disable the on screen display. I tried launching the game with this enabled and got the same error. Once i turned Riva Tuner off it worked for me. Hope this helps.

Yep the games literally unplayable. Every 2-3 minutes the game just crashes. My CPU is an i5 2500k @4.5ghz and a GTX 980 with the newest nvidia drivers.

Same issue here (970gtx, 3570k, 8gb ram) 344.65 drivers. Crashes whenever I try to go to a new area in Paris. ACU.exe stoppped working. SMH.
i7 920, 6GB RAM, GTX 750 Ti SC. Keep getting that message on the splash screen. Tried validating cache and installing latest driver, but it's a no go.

Anyone know how much chance Vista OS is factoring in?

Pretty sure I don't have any screen displays. Nothing seems to work. I heard Ubisoft was bad with pc ports but I had no idea it meant THIS bad to the point where I couldn't even start the game.

I heard a patch is coming, it's fixing the bugs and glitches. It is said that the patch is released when the game is released everywhere else besides the US (which is 11.14.2014)
I heard that was the release date of the patch, but the patch was announced.
