If you got Arkham Knight with an Nvidia card, you may be able to get this from your retailer.

I got a card in May when they were doing the Arkham Knight promotion. Today I found out about MGSV, a game I care about a lot more, doing a similar promotion. I haven't even been able to play Arkham Knight since I'm waiting for all the issues to be ironed out, so I contacted Newegg and explained the situation and asked if I could get an MGSV code as a replacement. The customer service rep pretty quickly set me up with a free redemption code for MGSV, and it's now in my Steam library ready to play at the release date. :]

So if you got Batman from the same promotion and are in a similar boat being unable / waiting to play it, ask the retailer you got your card from to see if they'll be nice enough to do the same thing. Not sure if I just got lucky, so can't guarantee it'll happen for sure.

I feel like an idiot now. I already redeemed the code and arkham knight is sitting in my library. I assume theres no way for me to trade in for MGSV now. Either way I'm lookng forward to MGSV.

I'd already redeemed Arkham Knight months ago when I got the card, actually! In fact, Arkham Knight is still in my Steam account. I'd have been willing to have it removed if necessary, but luckily that doesn't seem to be the case. There was no trade, I just explained my situation and the rep sent an order through my account for an MGSV code within a few minutes. I'll get to play both The Phantom Pain on release day and Arkham Knight when/ifever it gets fixed. :] So yeah, go for it!

Both Arkham Knight and MGSV are in my Steam library. In both cases the way it worked was Newegg gave me a code that was inputted on the Nvidia website, with the Nvidia website asking me to log in to Steam. Then it added the game directly to my Steam account. I imagine any other retailer was given the same kind of redemption codes.

Yeah contact your retailer. They're usually pretty good with that type of thing and much faster to reply.

I contacted Nvidia first and they said they couldn't with a fairly copy-paste answer about how Arkham Knight will be patched so please be patient. So the retailer you got the card from is your best bet.

I already redeemed my AK code with my purchase with B&H Photo. I contacted support, explained my situation nicely, and they told me they'll look into it. A few hrs later I got my code for MGSV! Give it a shot and good luck!

Update: my retailer claimed that nvidia gives them a set amount of codes for each gpu bundle they offer, I couldn't replace AK for MGSV but that wont stop my from enjoying MGSV. Good luck to all of you that are still trying to get MGSV.
