Have turned off as much in Steam as I could, manually installed redistributables, launched outside of steam, verified files, ran in compatability mode, launched as administrator, turned off steam cloud/broadcasting/sharing/in-game browser. Restarted Steam and OS, checked for new drivers on all components, and killed off non-essential background services (e.g. Origin, Krita, Chrome, etc.). Still replicates.
Also redownloaded and reinstalled. Worth noting that this is a fresh install on my OS so it should be pretty clean for testing/diagnostic purposes.

Explanation of what was displayed on the screen just as the game freezes/crashes:I get a steam game launching window for a second and then nothing follows. The window lasts a few seconds more after reboots but still does nothing else.
** Additional Info (if possible):
I get this when I try to run it directly from the exe http://puu.sh/jVXEx/e9c8c22faf.png
