People so quick to try get on the Beta early they don't realise 1.0.6.0 Beta is obsolete. I blame the folks who said to go Opt into Beta now when it wasn't even made live yet.

If you opt into beta. Steam will automatically download the MGO beta whenever it arrives.

You should never use a beta when not told to do so, because the devs might have forgot to close the depot, you won't benefit normal updates and will cry the forum about crashes.

It doesn't help that they kept telling us "opt into the beta" and that's the only option. I recognized that it was an old version, but I understand the misconceptions.
