Playing on Ranger - Anyway to check ammo?

Hi guy's! Just wondering if there is any way to check ammo at all, I know it is meant to not show the ammo and hud stuff but is there any way at all?
It would make sense if I can check how many rounds I got in a clip some how or something! Help?

bring up your lighter and clipboard. Then right click to see your ammo.

I don't think you can see how many rounds are in your clip. The ammo count that you see in ranger only counts unloaded ammo and doesn't count ammo already in a clip.

To check the rounds left in your current weapon (assuming you can't already see them like the B@stard), press Y to check your watch. For most 2 handed weapons, when you bring your left arm up to see the time, it brings your weapon up to where you can see the side of it including the clip. Most of the clipped weapons have a slot in the side where you can see roughly how full it is. Great way to do it. Haven't figured out how to check the ammo left in the revolver, but otherwise no problem.

what about switching secondary weapons...im stuck on a stealth part and cant do anything but throw pipe bombs...

If I remember correctly from Ranger Hardcore in Last Light, press tab and move the mouse towards the proper direction to select your secondary. The clipboard check should show you the direction you need to swipe.

As always press M then right mouse button to see how many you are carrying and what is currently selected.

im on ranger hardcore, playing through the tutorial missions right at the start, and its my first time playing. m does nothing, i cant bring up my lighter or any hud other than the pause menu. i keep running out of ammo in the tutorial missions and not being able to even check how much total ammo i have, loaded or unloaded. this is stupid someone help me\



ok nevermind it was just tutorial logic not letting me use the menus at the time

I wouldn't really suggest playing Ranger Hardcore the literal first time you've played. Some things you won't know what to do because there aren't any popup hints, and the enemies will kick your ass out of the galaxy if you aren't careful.
