error updating
the game is not exiting completely. when steam tries to update the game i get a disk read error. only way to clear this is to restart the computer. a real pain in the butt... only problem is i dont see the process running so i cant kill it.

if youd like we can do a remote session on my machine and you can analyze the process with procmon or something. this is a repeating issue.

Have you tried removing the game folder completely and downloading from scratch?
