Where can I find the jump drive? I did a mission as a terran defender in the split area and found one jump component. Is there a way to re do this mission w out starting over? I'm stuck now since I have to jump to Aldrin and can't find the jump equipment.. Please Help!!

I don't see it in "the moon" I'm not physically their my vidar ship is does that make a difference?

Military bases don't have them. (You're probably thinking of Triplex scanners.) There are the standard locations[eng.x3tc.ru]. There is an additional location closer to you in Elysium of Light, but only after you complete the Goner plot.

First off jump drive components are a waste of space, dump them. If you want jump drive early in the game there are two places, i) Terracorp HQ 1S (1sector south) of Argon Prime. 2) Legends Home OTAS HQ, starting in Omicron Lyrea go 2W, 1S, 1E, 1S, 3W, 2N, 1E, 1S. Best of luck, also remember your rep must be high enough to buy these.

just the positions derek listed - TerraCorp HQ, OTAS HQ, Temple of Goner (once built) and Torus of Earth (if you have access to it)
