I know its slim, and likely futile, to be honest....but I sincerely hope Rebellion can pull off the release of Volume 2, even if it takes a hot minute. It really feels like this game NEEDED the second installment to be a complete story, and....well....fate is mean.
I believe in you guys, and oyu have a buyer on launch day if you ever *do* get around to it!

Main character and general aesthetics of the game are very appealing

I suspect that the main problem with the game was a 2D/3D design. Which I imagine makes everything more complicated. Like the damn cameras that constantly change instead of following you.

When I think of 2.5D games like Crash Bandicoot, they usaully don't complicate combat which is suited more for third person games.

Making 2D game from 3D enviroment is very sketchy and I have seen so many interesting games fail doing that.

Perhaps it should be more like Alice's core gameplay ( not counting mini games )

See, that's actually what I was thinking when I first saw the teasers for it, was it looked VERY A:MR and I got SUPER excited for that reason....

Well it wouldn't be smart if they purchased this IP just to sell a few $1 copies during the sales, it's obvious that they want to continue this series, but it will obviously depend on their schedule.
They might be already working on the 2nd chapter right now, but they won't tell until it's close to release.

I agree, Cunin, and I have heard of other issues that kinda hang about involving it as well, from their forums and such. I'm hopeful, but not expectant.....at least not any time soon.
