shareware version?
Anyway, Descent was way ahead of it's time. Saying it wasn't worth $3.49 back when it was released makes you appear like somebody who doesn't know what he's talking about, which is probably the case unless you are trolling.
Yes, one should be drawn and quartered for such talk. :)
I remember that. The shareware was only the first 7 levels though. Went out and bought the full game with my lawn mowing money after beating that big red boss at the end of the shareware version. Oh how simple life was back then.
Or find the files on the Rebirth and other graphic update sites online. Very easy to find.
I bought this game way back when, and I got Rebirth- sorry Steam, no reason for me to buy this game again. Though the idea of a younger generation playing this game makes me happy. They don't make games like this anymore!
