Memory issues?
I have 8gb of RAM, and 4gb of VRAM, yet when I run the game, after 10 or 15 minutes it quits and tells me that it is using too much memory. Is there a fix? WTF Rockstar...

Apparently it's a VRAM issue

I have the same problem. Game actually crashes within like 5 minutes for me.
Managed to do the intro mission though.

I noticed that exactly half of my memory is used, which is 8GB.
So this could mean that GTA V is using only 1 memory piece of 4GB.

I'm having the issue as well.
i5 4670k, 8gb ram, R9 290.
At least it's not exlusive to ATI /s

Activating the Swapfile works for me ( System organized )

I think this game is having Memory Leak Issues. It's not Video Memory but Actual Memory. I had Afterburner on and watched it from "Start" when I first got on foot starting at 4.5gbs of memory and watched it just keep rising until I hit 7.2gbs of memory then the game started running poorly.

Most games do not go past 5kg or 6gb of memory usage, and only recommend 8gbs of memory because they use more than 4gbs of memory but getting up to over 7gb of memory is something I've not seen before.

PROBLEM SOLVED EVERYONE.

My virtual memory settings were set to 'no paging file'. I changed it to 'Automaticly manage paging file size for all drives." Everything works now and GTA V is using more of my memory.
