Bug caused unkillable boss

I was fighting Dr. Bloodfather. I can shoot triple bolts while standing still, and I have the use item that lets you shoot paper three times. This setup lets me shoot all paper charges at once while killing my ears.
He was low on health and turned into bat form. I shotgun blasted him, reverting him while killing him at the same time. This bugged the game.
He cannot hurt me, and I cannot hurt him. Meanwhile, the red screen is slowly killing me, which ruined this run.

I was fighting Sudsy the Inanimate, and I have the item that shoots three sets of notes while darkening the screen.
I used the item in the bosses' path right before he was about to charge.
His health bar disappeared, and I can no longer kill him.

I'm fighting Cyndar's Timekeeper.
I opened up the character page, looked at the Perks tab, and now I can't shoot anymore.
Jesus, I don't remember there being this many bugs the last time i played 18 months ago.

Just happened to me. Used the item to refill juice box capacity then got hit by an enemy and could not fire anymore..finished the room due to passive weapon dmg but then had to kill myself.. 1st time making it to that floor.

This never happened to me, are you on the latest game version : v516 ?

I’ll check when I get home but I’m pretty sure it’s build 4.8.8 .. which I thought was weird b/c a vid I saw from ‘15 is on v 4.9? I just bought and installed so figured I would have the latest version automatically?

The last version is available in properties / betas. You just need to activate test - test branch for patches.
In the library, the game should have [test] written in the name and on the main menu, v516 should be displayed.

Thanks, I’ll try when I get home. Very curious why the version purchased via steam is not the most current? :/ I heard the game is not being worked on anymore but did the devs really abandon it mid beta patch?
