Championship rules!
Start time 18:30, 8 of the April, Saturday (time zone +UTC 00:00)

1. The Championship is only for Steam users (so we will check the Steam users high scores table)
2. The model of the week is the Colt M1911 - That means that we will only count all high scores for this model.
3. The contest will start at 18:30 and will be finished at 19:00 (UTC+00:00).
4. For 30 mins participants have to gain the best high score for the Game, Super Game and Hardcore Game modes (if high score did not pass verification by the server it will not be counted).
5. The winner is the person who has the highest combined points total across all 3 Game modes (for example, Game: 300 000, Super Game:200 000 Hardcore:220 000 - the combined sum is 720 000 points)
6. The prize for the first place - 10 credits, for second place - 5 credits, for third place - 3 credits, for the fourth place - 2 credits, for the fifth place - 1 credit.
7. The championship will be LIVE on the youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/NobleEmpireLtd
8. The winners will be announced within 10-15 mins after 19:00.
9. Results will be posted on the correspondent community thread.

Sorry, feeling a bit down and deflated....
I think this is a bit of a red herring really. If you check the tables at the moment it's pretty obvious that only a few people are ever in with a chance of winning those tempting credit prizes... my adrenaline rush lasted a few seconds at most before reality dawned.
Times are great on an 'All Time' leaderboard, and I know those places are earned and well deserved, a lot of effort goes into achieving them. But, for us mere mortals... we will hardly ever get near those levels. We have to wait til they've left the leaderboards alone for a 'few' days to make our best scores count to get the Gold (and that vital end Credit or two).
So, if this is a regular item, I don't think it will have the effect you are hoping for with the majority of players. It's not like a lottery where everybody has an equal chance. It's more like the olympics where the world population spectates and watches the top few well known players take the prizes again and again. Which is brilliant for them and well deserved for their skill, but a little bit disheartening for the rest of us as we cheer for them and look on in wonder.

I appologize for the sour grapes and will now crawl back into my hole to carry on playing the game I love quietly and slowly.

I know if you don't try, you'll never have any chance, but with the top speed players I know I don't stand an earthly to get any prize. With those shiny 10/5/3 credits beckoning I don't think you're going to convince the usual leaders of the board to maybe give others a chance by not competing. They want to prove how good they are, and rightly so. But maybe if you spread the rewards for effort too and gave 1 credit to say the first fifty/one-hundred on the board, that might give a real incentive to all other players to join the fray. I know it's asking an awful lot to give more credits to more people, but if you're asked to run against Usain Bolt, you know you're not gonna win any medal, but a cup of tea and a biscuit at the finish line sure would cheer you up.

We are speaking only about 30 minutues of suffering, for sure I wont be between the best players, but I will try stay there at time to have fun. XD I think that it's natural and logical if WoG moves in a more competitive direction, despite I like play this game in my own way without pressure too. But like NE said lets see whats happend. XD

If it's a repeated thing, some changes will have to be made because - as mentioned before - it will always be the insane fast people that gatter the prizes. I see myself as a quite decent player almost reached all top 100 lists.. but some times are far far away from my skill level. You would expect that all the top 10 times of a model would be really close together, but almost all models have a top 10 spread over 10 seconds!

I love the new stuff you come up with, if you don't try you can't know, may the best win!
