How did my Arbalest heal for 0 hp?

I don't understand: Arbalest heal should be 2-3 (or higher), never 0. As it happens occasionally with Occultist.

Happened that I cast Heal with Arbalest on a Bounty Hunter in Death Door (I got this!), to keep him up another round, waiting for vestal heal. He was affected also with bleed and blight.

He was healed for 0! (Curse game here), next round some pig hit the BH with a Deathblow. Lot of swearing in my home. Bug or some mechanic I do ignore?

Debuffs for lowering healing do exist in the game. Likely such debuffs were in place on your arbalest when this happened. I don't remember what can apply it in Vanilla but it does exist.

Give her a break. So what if she accidentally bandaged the wrong arm? Happens to the best of us now and then.

If I remember well the pig with the chopper can decrease heal received by 33% with every hit of his weapon, were you fighting pigs?

Edit: While I was writing I forgot what killed your bounty hunter, if he was in death door he must have taken more than a single, massive, critical chop and the debuff must have been pretty high.

The Pig with the Butcher blade can reduce healing-received%.

If the arbalest has any healing debuff at all with lower ranks of the bandage it will heal for 0. Unless you have the healing buff placed on the target you are trying to heal.

Yes, I never noticed he give a heal debuff. BH was hit by a crit earlier and probably reduced healing enough for Arbalest cast to be nullified.

You should play Rimworld, where a doctor can "accidentaly" remove your head while trying to heal a wound to the feet :D
