There seems to be a problem with alt+tabbing out of the game which makes it display as nothing more than a black square in the center of my laptop screen. Since I tried to do that and do something else while the game loaded, I initially thought that the game wouldn't work for me.

Once I let the game load without touching anything, everything appeared to work fine. I have a couple instances where the textures for the enemies won't load until after I've killed them, and something goes wonky with Roth's model that causes huge flat sections to clip through him for no apparent reason.

Other than that, the game looks great, and I'm glad I'm able to play it this build! :)

Hey guys, thanks for directx10 compatibility. I use nvidia geforce gtx285, on win7home, bought the game a week or 2 ago, and was getting the black screen with audio issue, until today.
I almost put the game aside again because it kept freezing(sound remained, but video stopped) 2-5 minutes in. I was unable to quit, alt-tab, or even access the steam interface(shift-tab). I had to kill the game using the task manager, and was unable to get error messages or crash reports. I tinkered with the graphics settings, and resolutions, neither helped. I did manage to get the crashing to stop by playing in windowed mode, cleared the first 'level' with no issues.
After I killed the big fat boss guy, I choose my new spell, and waited about 3-5 mins for the next level to load. When it did finally load, all the textures, except the bad guys, the falling snow, and the sky were pitch black. I wandered around, basically blind, until the issue fixed itself when I endered the first cave at the bottom of the steps. I assume going into the cave made the world load, or refresh or something.
Aside from those 2 issues, the game was pretty smooth, sometimes I would lag a bit while turning around, but that was minimal, even on medium settings.

Game is good fun, though a bit aqward to figure some stuff out on your own, but amazing for a pre-alpha, good work.

I'll post my feedback in the appropiate area.

I'm actually playing this on a netbook (Hp dm1z) which is pretty cool. I can play games like path of exile on the highest settings but i have to go for very low settings in lichdom and load times are extremely long (like 5 mins each). in the first level, it actually played decently with a drops in fps here and there. now im in GT and it's lagging a lot; sometimes it's downright unplayable. im still enjoying it though and hope that the game will run more smoothly as time progresses.

its not really a direct 10 problem but after the fire area effect i have massive framedrops (because you guys use (3d) projectors or how its called in the engine), could you please improve the performance?
