We just released a new patch which adds Edwin Montgomery's soundtrack and fixes an issue with the Linux build.

- Added soundtrack by Edwin Montgomery
- Fixed Linux version issue where the game would crash when switching fullscreen/windowed while paragraph text is visible

We submitted it to them same time as it was uploaded on Steam, so as soon as they test/approve it it'll be up there as well.

The issue is that I'm retarded... Awhile ago I was having an issue with Fallout 1 having this odd rainbow color effect that was very distracting. When I started up Wasteland, I saw that the title picture had a similar rainbow effect, and assumed it was the same glitch. Totally my bad!

Just wanted to say that I've been playing a metric giga-f*ck worth of Wasteland, and I love it. The Fallout series is one of my all-time favorite series, and when I heard about this game and that it actually came before Fallout, I knew I had to play it.

I love Wasteland, I love Fallout, and I love you. Thank you so much for making such amazing games.

Oh, and Wasteland 2 is amazing, everyone should buy it, and I've been telling all my friends. I was so sad Van Buren was canceled, and this more than makes up for it. You guys have outdone yourselves. :')

Are there any plans for making the Linux version of Wasteland 1 available on GOG (now that they offer Linux games, and Wasteland 2 includes the Linux version on GOG)?

Any plan to implement per-location music for the soundtrack? I know this can probably be a difficult thing given that the game is running through a modified DOSBox, but it would be nice. Awesome release as-is, though. I'm also surprised and happy to see you working for inXile, Brother None! I'll always remember your insightful and critical posts on NMA and the Bethesda forums shortly before Fallout 3's release.

Sadly no plans to do the music per-location. We looked into it but there's no way of doing it other than error-prone "manual" hacks, better to just let it run as-is.

Brother None....I'd just like to thank you and the InXile team for porting this to Steam. I played this game on a Commodore 64 back when it first came out and I've tried to follow Brian Fargo's trends since then. I kinda lost touch with him for a while but recently saw the stuff on Wasteland 2 and looked him back up. I'd honestly forgotten how many pies that brilliant guy had his hands in. Love the Wasteland games and I really SHOULD look into Fallout again...I only played F1.
Funny thing is...the very first Fargo game I ever played...The Bard's Tale. I still have a copy that was ported to Playstation. (I have a PS2). Huzzah! Great games folks!

Hi! Can I download game soundtrack by Edwin Montgomery in mp.3 format as DLC? In "...\Extras\Soundtrack" folder I see one file Wastlend.wav 5 min length. Folder "Music" contains music tracks, but in .ogg format and 64 kbps quality.
I like this music very much.
