What is rage?

So I just got this game...what is rage. It accumlates each time in battle. How do I use it? What is the importance of it? I'm playing warrior btw.

And what are mana crystals for?

part of the story line unlocks 4 summons in the game. You use the summons abilities with rage you build up. The summons level up as you use them so using them more often will make them more powerful ect. Mana crystals are used to scribe scrolls into your spell book as spells you can free cast.

What Panic said. Also, just having that rage stored increases the chances of getting critical hits. It all depends on your strategy.

I'm so glad someone asked this question haha! I was wondering myself. I have a level 5 Warrior and I'm making sure to choose skills in the tree that help with Rage along with equipment but had no idea when it was used. I guess I'll get a summons later on but don't have one yet.

After you get the Chest of Rage, or whatever it's called, make sure to actually talk to the summons in your menu screen in order to get the quests that unlock them. I always forget that step.

Rage is pretty important for a warrior, because warrior doesn't have as great magic as the other classes, so the summons are it's way of giving it's units that extra little boost that they may need to win the battle.

Rage is pretty important, period. The warrior just gets to use and therefore develop the rage spirits a bit faster.

For everyone not there yet - just play the game for an hour or two, you cannot miss it. When you get a quest from the king to fetch an item from the mages guild, do that at once, and as the previous poster said, talk to the spirits in your inventory to unlock them. Do not worry about not getting Lina and Reaper to work for you at first, you will find their unlocks later and again cannot miss them.
