How much IC should I aim for with UK?

So as the title,really. I hear talk of US and USSR running about 350 IC so realistically, what shoudl the UK aim for starting in 1936?

I never build IC as any country... research techs that increases IC, and use avalible IC for production, upgrades, ect. building IC takes up too much IC (IC-days), so its better to use the avalible IC.

When i was going a US playthrough, I got my IC to 500 by 1938. UK should aim for 300-350 by 1938.

No i think it sounds very reasonable.

ya IC is kinda reletive . if u us all ur IC for making IC . u will loss alot of reserch speed for all ur other units. Pluss ur gona need to have the resorces to sustain the IC , also ur gona need men to hold africa and south asia. making IC (factorys) for 3 yrs will but u in a very weak position , and u may loss ports that will be hard to regain and provide resorces and men to recrute. I do 5 factorys with GB than men ships. with usa IC i u can get up to 300 kinda low but alteast u have men. if ur looking for a long game more IC can be used, I tend to like the early game build up of men .unit exp and gen exp will be gained . and that at time is better than a nother unit.

How many divs realistically do I need to polish off east africa and north africa, you reckon?

not very many its just that they dont getsupplies very well so they just stop fighting

one good light tank and 2 motor works real well. wtih inf x3 for back up . suprizing but low cost for supplys will alow u to move faster. all so if u do air attack from malta on triplie u can lower there supplys and the retreting army will have to keep retreting. make sure u put good gen on ur tank unit. and up grad ur skills for ground . italy sucks and will not have alot of anythng. mostly MM so tank blow away. make sure u ships have suprem control . hitting italy hard will make japan easyer whin the time comes. on on my last post ment to say 500 IC for usa . 300 for GB. sorry

Yeah I agree with the previous comments, GB should have around 300/350 IC at the low end if you focus on other things, but if you play your cards right you could get it to 400-500 IC mid war, it just depends how you play the game. In all honesty playing GB is more of a strength in numbers type of thing, GB can't be Germany infantry/tank wise, so the US and the other allies are needed, meaning you in reality don't need supreme amounts of IC.

I dont build IC except if I play USA. The UK already start with enough IC for what they are supose to do, to take Africa from the Italians 2 corps should do the job

now if you're playing the Black ICE mod you might notice something, as Japan i have around 450IC....and with spies I noticed that America has 900, and England has around 600-700. So its best to know what your enemies have and try to base it off of that and what your goals, otherwise you'll end up extremely outmatched IC wise (like me :P)
