One of the most beautiful and atmospheric games I have ever played. The aesthetic and music are extremely tight, and the sound design sounds like no other game that I know. The combat can be difficult and sometimes frustrating at times, and the way the game controls may not be everyone's cup of tea. Despite this downside, I personally really enjoy the combat and gameplay, with all the ninja-like moves and the strategy that many encounters will require.

The themes, the aesthetic, the gameplay, the sound design--as far as I am aware, there is no game like this one.

What a beautiful masterpiece, one of the most atmospheric and visually appealing games i've ever played. The gameplay is nuanced although hard to get a hang of at first which can make it feel annoying, but when you finally get a hang of it you are able to enjoy the gameplay to its fullest potential. The OST is wonderful and with a touch of an elegant piano. Can't stress how good the game is.

Hyperlight Drifter has to be one of the absolute best pixel art games ever created. It uses atmospheric music to the fullest extent and has some of the most thematic “language-agnostic” storytelling ever done in a game. I picked it up ages ago, and am just returning to it now to great delight. 10/10

This game is a great representation of self improvement, and if you want to get all of its achivements you would see that you improve, don't quit, keep trying!
