Build 246379 for The Talos Principle is released.
If you have previously opted into public beta, you already have this.

Here are the changes:

New features:

- Added support for additional (non-XInput) controllers.
- Added water splash sounds.
- Added a work-in-progress feature for Linux: VDPAU, which can be used for displaying frames. It's used to achieve smoother framerates because it allows precise tracking and scheduling of frame times. However, it is not yet functional, and will be made available in the next patch.

Bug fixes:
- Fixed elevator exploits on final Tower puzzle.
- Fixed a crash when removing an item from a mine during timerecorder playback.
- Fixed a rare crash when snapping items in a fan stream.
- Fixed an issue with mouse polling and sensitivity calculation. Mouse input should now be smoother and unaffected by Fast Forward feature.
- Fixed a problem where QR message painting would not work when using a gamepad.
- Fixed an issue where changing the preferred view mode via hotkey (default: H) during gameplay would not be saved nor indicated in Game Options menu.
- Fixed an issue where connector beams would appear distorted when viewed over a water surface.
- Fixed an issue where webcams would be activated when starting the game.
- Fixed an issue causing the "Lefty V" controller layout to be invalid.
- Lens flares should now be visible on torches again.
- Fixed several occurances of visible z-fighting.
- Several minor visual touch-ups and geometry fixes across all levels.


** Road To Gehenna **

New features:
- Italian and Polish localizations are now available for Road To Gehenna DLC.

Bug fixes:
- Fixed problems caused by freeing the admin before freeing anyone else.
- Fixed problem with Admin not being liberated after restoring the backup that was made when solving the Admin door arranger. Now Admin will be marked as liberated if the arranger is solved.
- Fixed several exploits.

Очень красивая игра. Спасибо вам за неё, пусть загадки не очень сложные (что может и хорошо), зато она такая красивая – нередко я не шел к следующей головоломке, а смотрел на природу. Сюжет тоже очень хороший, особенно с русской озвучкой (одна из редких игр, где издатель превзошел оригинал). А 2-я часть планируетеся?

such a great game... I really thorougly enjoyed it. what is this about a level editor? When I played through the game I don't remember that feature, are people creating their own maps now???
Now if only we could get FTL witn online co-op... haha

Game constantly craches after the update, can't play any more.

Uhm, I've seen the news but I still have the English voices in RtG, do I have to exit the beta or something?

seb, the crash is in the AMD driver. Try updating (or reverting) the driver and see if it helps.

keks, thanks for info, but I didn't do driver updates recently (in general I install updates manually and know when updates happen), so the only thing changed was the game update

but I found a workaround, after the crash, steam suggests to run game in the safe mode and I also set all performance settings to lowest values, now it works as before
