Have you configured your controller in the options screen?
Let me know if you're still having issues after that and we will look into it for you :)
Thanks!

I tried to configure the controller buttons into the "reconfigure controls" option, but when I push the buttons in my controller the game doesn't detect anything, so I can't configure it...
It is like the game only can detect the controller on the tittle screen...
This controller is configured under the "Big Picture". It works there and with several other games using SDL2.
Thanks,
Ashley
I chose to start playing the game with keyboard and mouse, but sadly the game runs at 1/4th speed when the ship goes within an inch or two of water or lava.
I'm running Ubuntu 13.10 64bit w/ Unity. on a GTX 670 331.20 drivers.
The Reconfigure Controls screen can be a little bit confusing. There are two columns with control mappings. The left column is only for Keyboard controls. The right column is only for Joypad controls. So to configure your controller either select the right hand Configure All button or click on individual rows on the right hand column.
Even using the right column I can't configure it.
Well, if I put my controller in "D" position (it has two position "X" and "D") I can configure the analog sticks, but not the buttons or the triggers
We are also going to make the Reconfigure Controls screen slightly easier to use.
