How do you find your XYZ coordinates?

I'm keep losing my base and I can't find my friends.

The sun and the moon are your friends. Also use the road and burn the image of the area where your base is into your brain. If this was real and you were starving to death, seeking shelter etc. You'd do it.

Finding your friends is dirt easy, just suicide till your both at the same spawn. Finding your base gets easier, landmarks are the best, usually my friends and I use the hanger and a starting point, then either build north/east etc from there.

best way to find your way around is to know were the road is at all times. the road is a circle so if you know were the road is, and you know were the mountains are, you know were you are.

To find friends have one persons build something small in the middle of the road and have them wait in some rocks hidden. Have the other people follow the road, which is just a big circle, till they find what was put down. Chuck some sleeping bags down in some rocks so if you die you spawn back there till you find a base location.

For finding your base, the road is your friend. Find a bit of road you know well then walk in a straight line away from it till you find a good location. Just remember not to bother walking at night time unless you know where you are going and the area.

The road is a loop, but is so far from circular that if you assume it's a circle, you'll get lost. There is a page on the wiki that provides maps.
