Damned
2 computers from same LAN
I bought this awhile ago and wasn't able to join any games for the longest time. Well now I'm finally able to, I tried hosting a game with port forwarded and played just fine with folks joining.

The problem, however, is my wife's computer cannot join. It says she joins but she is just in an empty room. The same happens if she tries to host. I forwarded 55888 to mine and 55889 to her computer (the message gave a range of ports you could forward so I picked the next one). Only one of us can play a game at a time period, whether we're joining someone else or not. If one of us are in game and the other joins a game, the person currently in game gets bumped offline.

I've also been unable to chat in the lobby both when hosting a game, and when joining another game. I can chat in game though. In game mic does not work either.

I found a thread talking about the game joining on same LAN, but there was no resolution. I bought this game because I thought it would be a fun LAN game. I feel pretty cheated that I've wasted money on 3 total copies now.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've seen somewhere on the forums that this is a known issue.

One that will hopefully will be resolved.

Darn. So as of yet, it's still unresolved I guess? I may have been referencing the same one you are, but was hoping maybe it was an old post (didn't check dates) and there was some work around I did not know about.

Has anybody with multiple IPs tried using outbound NAT to assign different external IPs for each machine? I have an 8 block and was going to give it a go maybe. Anyone else try this?
