Use the RTB addon, and it's simpler.
Plus! With workshop, it would attract more new modders. We've had the same... What, 12-15 people making mods consistently for what, 6 years? Some new blood would be nice.
Yes. This is one of the reasons i want it on workshop! I am a kinda new modder for skyrim and i love workshop! Its very simple to upload mods. Keep in mind i don't own blockland and i would only get it if it had workshop.
it'd end up like poor GMod workshop with all the horrid saves and dupes.
i would only like to have Mods not Saves/Dups....
RTB only approves a few mods that are made, all coming from the blockland.us forums. RTB can simply choose to not add a certain mod for whatever reason, and the moderators of the forums even have the power to "fail" a mod, delete the topic, and make it so that mod file won't ever work again unless someone goes in and renames stuff, SIMPLY because they don't like it, or they think it's pointless.
While most of the time they do fail stuff within reason, it IS still a bit of a shady practice. Workshop won't descriminate. If it's a bad mod, people will just give it a low rating and natrual selection will occur.
Basically not a good idea.
