This is an issue that's been preventing me from playing blockland for well over a year now. I've tried finding help online and even emailing for support but it's all lead to dead ends or dropped communication. Now that Blockland is on steam I'm hoping someone can help me with this issue.

I can open Blockland with absolutely no issue, but it refuses to authenticate my key, and I'm permanently stuck with the message "Authentication: Validating Key" at the bottom of my screen.

This issue has not fixed itself, as I've stated it's been over a year since I've been able to play Blockland. I've tried resetting blockland, uninstalling it, etc. Nothing seems to work, which is a shame because Blockland was once my favorite game.

I don't know if this would help, but I'm running on a laptop with windows 7. I'm not running on an administrator account, there are various restrictions (anti-virus programs, inappropriate content, etc. Nothing that I think would interfere with Blockland. I've set my anti-virus to ignore Blockland as well.), and my firewall has no issues with the game.

I'm hoping someone can help me, thank you in advance.

I'm also having this error as I've recently bought the game, and now I'm not able to play online. I payed $10 to buy this game specifically to play with my friend.

Your issue is probably unrelated to OP's. The servers were down for a little while. Try again.
So erm... is there anything you can tell me about my issue? :cherrypie:
If that happens again after trying most good things,report it immedeitly to steam support.If they can't help,uninstall somethings.it might be caused from not enough disk space

I'd like to reiterate that this has been going on for over a year, I've tried any solution I could find on the net, and I've even emailed Blockland support before, none of which has solved anything.
You should go to http://forum.blockland.us for support.

We're volunteers, buddy. We do this on our free time to help people out. There's more volunteers there that have more time to help with this.

Fair enough, I didn't know that Doesn't help that blockland forum is even slower than the steam one

I have the same problem as mentioned in the first post. *omg i'm new to this convo* I just wanted to play online but my non-steam version said "no url set in game manifest" but when i get to the steam version it's getting stuck at validating.

I hope I have something to help me, like Greek2Me
