No controller support?

I only played TWD with my controller. Game wouldnt even start with my 360 controller in.
Tried plugging it in after I launched but the game wont support it. Whats up with that?

can't you use some form of a controll mapper?
Like logitech has a manager that can map keys and analogs to keyboard input. Does the 360 controller have something like that? third party even?

Its jsut odd becuase right on the stor page it states being able to use it. No big deal jsut some of themore intense scene would have been easier.

Mine works fine. But i prefer m/kb if you only could remap Q for a lefty setup.. (win 8.1 normal corded 360 controller)

Cant say for whether or not there is third party software for that. But nothing first party at all.

Saw this. Its just that I'm alerted this type of file may do damage to my computer and I'm pretty damn paranoid that anything of the sort would happen to my new gaming set-up.

I can confirm that the fix works johnny. it isn't going to mess with anything else on your PC because the file resides in the game folder. it isn't installed on your system, it's just used by the .exe file.

Try running it in Steam Big Picture mode. The game didn't detect controller when I first launched it, but when I turned it on in Big Picture mode it let me use my controller.

Yeah, its lazy, but I wouldnt pass. Beat the game using keyboard and mouse and it played better than TWD did. Still want to use my controller though. IT reallt is a great game.

See this thread here Johnny, has a link to an english site with the same file. I can confirm it works, as Ninny said it does not install anything but is only used by the games .exe file.
